Landscapes

Landscape Mosaic

Layered flower fields beneath a mountain ridge. Landscapes are the high cell-count format: broad color bands are built from hundreds of near-matching tiles, and the reward is in how much there is to find up close.

How It Was Made

  1. 01

A composition with strong horizontal bands — fields, hills, ridge — was chosen as the main image.

  2. 02

The tile library spanned the full color range to support the saturated field tones.

  3. 03

A higher cell count was used than for portraits, trading tile size for tonal smoothness across the bands.
